We handle civil cases in the following areas of law: adoption*, child custody, visitation, and child support, divorce, name changes, simple consumer matters, eviction actions, lease termination, non-refund of security deposits, simple wills and probate. We do not handle any criminal cases or any type of case that could generate a fee for an attorney.

Call our office at 843.815.1570. We will ask you some questions about your income (only households with income at or below 150% of federal poverty level qualify) and the legal issue you're facing. If you qualify, we will set up a time for you to come in for an intake interview with one of our volunteers. Our attorneys makes all final decisions with respect to which cases we can accept.
